I’m a Building Designer & Draftsman whose career began as a Carpenter & Builder. I’m based in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area & this is my website

My
Story.

I was born & raised in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area. I am a qualified Carpenter, Builder, Building Designer & Draftsman. Prior to completing a Diploma of Architectural Technology I spent 15 years ‘on the tools’ as a Carpenter & Residential Builder. I have extensive knowledge of design, drafting, construction, materials, building techniques & the local environment.

My guiding philosophy is buildings of simple geometric shapes that function well & are cost effective to build. Then focus on the fine details to provide a building of lasting quality. I value thoughtful design, building knowledge, care & pride in workmanship both in the plans I prepare & the buildings they become. My motto is “Thoughtful Design-Precise Documentation”.

Update

Dear Clients, past, present & future,

Like all businesses & all Australians I am obliged to follow government guidelines to assist in slowing the spread of Coronavirus. My current situation from 30/03/20 until further notice is:

  1. I am still working normal business hours (8.30am to 4.30pm) at my office 529 Glebe Rd, Adamstown.
  2. I am still meeting with new clients on-site.
  3. For my existing clients, my preferred meeting method is via video conferencing app ‘ZOOM.’ I will still meet with existing clients here at my office if necessary.  Due to the office size this is limited to only having me & one client in the office at any one time.
